Note: Apart from translation the following should work with the German vers also.
There is a cheat which enables you to get every item required to complete the game and also create a party of experts. To access the cheat you must first acquire Netsrak's Staff. Once you have this you should go to the last street in Spannenberg (behind the Baron's House). Find the plaque on the wall which says "Karsten was here" (Hey, that's Netsrak spelt backwards) and use the Staff. If you do this correctly you should be informed that you will be taken to the Thalion Offices and that the information/equipment therein could damage your enjoyment of the game. Once in the Thalion Offices it's a case of rooting through the lockers and chests, just as in the game, to get the goodies.
As mentioned you can recruit characters here also. You'll find members of the Thalion team here each with a different profession. All these characters have their stats set at maximum (50/50, 95/95, etc.) and come with better equipment than those you find in the actual game.
In Illien there are four Riddlemouths which give access to wishing wells. The answers are:
1. Needle
2. Nose (Riddle didn't make sense to me but it works)
3. Ripe
4. Glasses
On the Forest Moon if you find it hard to stay alive/kill the insects then try the following:
To increase your attack damage equip your character with an item such as the Sling Dagger (+28) in place of a shield. This has the effect of erroneously adding to your primary weapon's damage score. When used in conjuction with a weapon such as a scimitar (+30) you are given a damage strength of +58 max and most hits will register as 30 or more. (Note: This seems to be an effect of an oversight in the game mechanics rather than a deliberate cheat as it works with missile weapons too so negating its being admissable as some sort of melee weapon attack).
In the ruins on the Forest Moon the symbols correspond to the following figures:
Additives
1. Red Triangle = 1
2. Orange Triangle = 10
3. Yellow Triangle = 50
4. White Triangle = 100
Multipliers
1. Red Circle = 1
2. Orange Circle = 10
3. Yellow Circle = 50
4. White Circle = 100
As an example of usage:
Two Red and one White triangle and 2 Red circles = (1+1+100) x (1+1) = 102 x 2 = 204
Note: This list is nowhere near complete but as I had these locations noted down I thought, why not. Remember also that some places cannot or shouldn't be entered until you have the necessary item(s) or you are hard enough!
