Start the game, then type "04-08-59" (or "04 08 59") the screen should turn Grey and you will be near invincible (You can still be killed by very high falls and by the flame-hurling horned demon in the dungeon deep).

To kill the final Wizard, you must have a shield. When his shot comes at you, use the defence icon and it will fly back at him.
