Watch the intro screen until the bloke asks Mike Hagar to turn on the telly, then press HELP five times to activate the cheat. You now are invulnerable to hits and kicks. Press + to make all mad gear members disappear and pressing 1 to 0 will skip you through the stages of the game.
Pause the game and type "SHERRIF FATMAN" for infinite lives.
